Taking a traditional office faith exercise and turning it into a gloriously free-flowing interpretive dance might seem like an audacious endeavour, but in the steady hands of Seb Edwards, the high-concept becomes hypnotically captivating with graceful ease.
Following a young woman as she embarks on her Trust Journey, Edward's film for Orange uses Pina Bausch-esque drama through movement to tell its story; the character finding herself flung, spun and held aloft as she finally finds her freedom.
Shot through Academy Films and Wanda, with a terrific performance from dancer Chiara Corbetta captured with elegance by DOP Justin Brown, this moving stunner of a spot is enough to make us believe.
