Created by Venables Bell & Partners, directed by John Hillcoat through SKUNK and beautifully shot by Academy Award-winning cinematographer Hoyte van Hoytema, this heartwarming spot for Scout Motors captures the revival of the vehicle brand’s iconic Scout II model.
The story begins in 1980. Set to Creedence Clearwater Revival’s Long As I Can See The Light, a factory worker drives the last ever Scout II vehicle home, where we watch the next four decades of a father-daughter relationship unfold in front of his garage.
At the end of the story, the father, now an 80-year-old man, is surprised by his daughter, who followed in his footsteps and currently works at Scout’s new factory and gives him an emotional sneak peek at the new electric Scout.
