It's always nice to see a team sponsor take a vested interest in the sport(s) it supports, but the luckless protagonist of these funny spots for Purplebricks might be taking it too far.
Promoting the brand's sponsorship of Team GB for the 2020 Tokyo Olympics, the spots, from Snap LDN, involve athletic stars Laura Kenny CBE (Olympic Cyclist), Bianca Walkden (World Taekwondo Champion), Dan Goodfellow (Synchro diver) and Moe Sbihi MBE (Team GB Rower) just trying to get on with their training.
Star of the show, though, is 'Alice’, a Purplebricks estate agent who endlessly attempts to draw parallels between the tireless work of a Purplebricks agent to sell a house and those of Team GB’s finest athletes to bring home medals this summer. With a strong comedic performance from actress Harrie Hayes, drawn out by MindsEye's Benjamin Green, the startled reaction and humorous responses make these spots comedy gold medalists.
