This year's YDA Jury Chairman, Karim Bartoletti, once again sits down with a former YDA winner to chat about their career, their work and their thoughts on the industry.
In this episode, Bartoletti chats to Pulse Films director Nez, who triumphed in the Short Film category at the YDA in 2010. The director, who won for his pioneering work for Halston [below], and who has gone on to direct work or Rimmel, Talk Talk and the recent mental health campaign, Britain Get Talking, discusses coming from a colourful family, the positive effects of being babysat by the TV, extending the boundaries of his own creativity, working with Vaughan Arnell and honing in on his own directorial voice.
