Hip-hop icon LL Cool J joins the insurance company’s Parenta-Life Coach Dr. Rick for a teachable moment in a new campaign by Arnold.
In this fun campaign created by Arnold Worldwide, Rock & Roll Hall of Fame inductee and Hip-Hop icon LL Cool J is joining insurance company Progressive’s Parenta-Life Coach Dr. Rick for a teachable moment: even though a hip-hop star could be standing right behind you…just act naturally.
The new commercial, Chance Encounter, directed by Martin Granger through Moxie Pictures, premiered during the A GRAMMY Salute to 50 Years of Hip Hop show that aired on CBS.
LL Cool J took the stage to honour hip-hop’s 50th anniversary – a moment in time Progressive is leaning into to showcase the brand’s commitment to multicultural milestones that matter to consumers.
LL Cool J: “The Dr. Rick commercials are classic, and I can’t help but laugh and relate to them. It was an honour to work with Progressive and join such a beloved campaign and character that resonates with so many. Being able to be myself and bring some laughter to the people at home is very cool.”
