Posten’s cheeky ad sees postie make an extra special delivery
Seems the postman only had to ring once in this bold Christmas ad for Posten (The Norwegian Postal Service) that offers a scandalous re-interpretation of the Virgin birth.

Riding his donkey with a certain Clint Eastwood swagger, the lone postman trots into town, flinging his scrolls around with gay abandon, only to find a rather fetching Mary home alone…
Nine months later… and Holy Moly what's the story? Poor Joseph seems to be caring for the missus and lil’ baby Jesus, blissfully unaware of the extra services that came with a certain mail delivery a while back. Rich in well-crafted biblical detail, this good-looking spot, The Postman Joke, was directed by Filip Nilsson through Einar Film and conceived by Oslo agency POL.
It maybe virgin on the ridiculous, but it certainly tickled shots' funny bones with its naughty twist on the Christmas Gospel story. ‘Oooooh oh Mr Postman’ indeed.
