Directed by Ben Harris through Torriano Group, this entertaining music video for American alt rock band People I’ve Met’s track, Bastards, follows the lead singer as an act of well-meaning kindness unravels into a trail of chaos.
Set in a distinctly British town, the video opens with the band’s frontman, Moses, stepping out of a black cab just in time to see his date’s handbag being stolen.
He sets off in pursuit of the thief, but leaves a trail of destruction in his wake as the chase sparks a vehicle robbery, car crashes and injuries. As he hurtles downtown on an ambulance stretcher, it becomes clear that his attempt to play the hero has just created an even bigger mess.
