Production company Park Village are thrilled to announce new Comedy signing Jennifer Sheridan.

Jennifer, who has recently finished directing an adaption of Jenny Nimmo's Snow Spider trilogy for BBC, and will direct two episodes of the Bafta winning BBC comedy anthology series Inside No 9, has a keen eye for performance, pacing and a good punch line, which stems from years of working as an editor on renowned TV series such as League of Gentleman and Cuckoo

Jennifer also directed two shorts for Sky Arts, including Love the Sinner, which took the festival circuit by storm. Not only did it win a Highly Commended Award at the Digital Broadcast Awards, but has also played at the BAFTA Qualifying Encounters & Aesthetica Film festivals, and the BFI London Film Festival. Love the Sinner written by and starring Susan Wokoma, was also long listed for Best British Short at the BIFA’s in 2019.

Jennifer, who has already received attention in the commercials world, having previously been nominated for a D&AD New Director award, kicks off her arrival at Park Village with an exciting partnership project for Drum.

I love to be surrounded by creative and motivated people, it helps you stay fresh and on your toes, and I’m already feeling the level of support and care they take with their directors. Park Village is a space where I can hone my voice in advertising, and push the boundaries of my craft, and I’m already going to be creating quirky and beautiful stories with them

Tom Webb, MD says ' Jennifer is a fantastic addition to our Comedy offering, perfectly complimenting existing talent such as multi award winning Director Harry Bradbeer. We are chuffed to bring her quirky and comedic tone to the commercials world and really pleased that she has already won her first pitch with us.'
