Created for Oreo's Mexican market by VML/Mexico City, this initiative continues the brand’s cookies-hidden-within-everyday-life platform with a charming film about a farmer who needs to prove his bovines are bonafide.

Directed by Agustin Carbonere through Landia, the spot, Cow, sees the much-maligned farmer accused by locals of being loco and painting his cattle in Oreo colourways. Once he's proved their authenticity he then needs to persuade the world that the delicious tradition of 'chopeo' – dipping Oreos in milk – deserves a comeback.

No cows were harmed – or painted – in the production of this ad – the breed is the Belted Galloway, distinguished by the black-and-white bands around the centre of their bodies.

Supporting activations include limited-edition milk bottles sent to influencers and a nationwide co-branded product launch with a popular Mexican milk brand.
