What’s the most creative advertising idea you’ve seen recently?

The Anthropic film for Claude, by Mother. It's remarkable, and another beautiful piece of work from Mother for Anthropic.

What website(s) do you use most regularly?

Probably Globo.com from Brazil. It's the website I check every morning and every night. It's my way of staying connected to what's happening back home.

What’s the most recent piece of tech that you’ve bought?

The Oura Ring 5. I've been an Oura user since 2019, so I was part of the flock that immediately upgraded to the new generation. I love having the data — it helps me understand my sleep, recovery, and overall health without feeling overwhelming.

What product could you not live without?

My husband would probably say my phone. And he's probably right. It's basically my tool for everything.

What’s the best film you’ve seen over the last year?

There were a lot of great ones, but I'd say Sirât, alongside O Agente Secreto from Brazil. Sirât is just heartbreaking and impressive on so many levels.

What film do you think everyone should have seen?

O Agente Secreto. It portrays part of Brazil's history during the dictatorship, but through a completely different lens. It's set in Recife instead of the usual São Paulo or Rio perspective, and I think that makes it even more powerful

What’s your preferred social media platform?

Definitely TikTok. It's where I go to switch off for a bit and just laugh.

What’s your favourite TV show?

I can go from really emotional, serious shows to things that help me completely disconnect for a while. But The Pitt is one of the best shows I've ever watched. And I Know This Much Is True with Mark Ruffalo has a permanent place in my heart. It's an older limited series, but it's absolutely incredible.

What’s your favourite podcast?

A Brazilian podcast called Picolé de Limão. It tells these short, unbelievable stories from people's lives. Sometimes you're completely shocked, sometimes you're angry, and sometimes you're just laughing, wondering what on earth happened.

What have you been most inspired by recently?

[Former FCB Global Chair] Susan Credle's speech at Cannes Lions. The way she talked about work and what people will actually remember you for made me stop and think. It's one of those talks everyone should watch.

If you could only listen to one music artist from now on, who would it be?

I've never really been the kind of person who's obsessed with one artist. I go through phases. There are periods where I listen to a lot of MPB (Brazilian Popular Music), and other times it's almost entirely '80s and '90s music. If I had to pick something I could listen to for days without getting tired of it, it'd probably be one of those two.

If there was one thing you could change about the advertising industry, what would it be?

Making stupid people famous. We're way past the point where we should celebrate people who mistreat others or harass people just because they're considered creative geniuses. That shouldn't be acceptable anymore. Thankfully, we're hearing fewer and fewer of those stories, and I hope that continues.

Who or what has most influenced your career?

The people who, in very different ways, pushed me forward. I grew up in a working-class neighbourhood in São Paulo. I didn't go to the same schools, wear the same clothes, have the same background, or travel like many people around me. Every person who believed in me and encouraged me to aim higher shaped my career. I could name a lot of people, but I think they know who they are.

What scares you the most?

Seeing people be cruel to other people. Every time that happens, it chips away a little bit at my belief that doing the right thing will always matter. That's probably what scares me the most.

What makes you happiest?

Being with my husband and my cat. It’s my happy place in the world.

Tell us one thing about yourself that most people wouldn’t know.

Most people are surprised to learn how connected I am to my faith. I go to church every Sunday, I pray every day, and I pray the Rosary once a week. It's a very important part of my life, but it's also something I don't talk about very often.
