While 2020 brought a new awareness to the racial inequality that has always existed in America, many White people might be over allyship.
Being an ally in the fight for racial equity and Black liberation is not a one-time thing. It’s a constant, non-stop, lifetime of work. This film documents the long history of white passivity in the face of small victories. With a calm, poetic narration over an animated, illustrative video, White Fatigue breaks it down for while people in understandable, existential terms.
This searing, emotive, uncompromising video is a Bigstar original production, created in the wake of an election that people hoped would course-correct the ethical impetus of a nation. BGSTR president Josh Norton directed the piece, and Bryan Senti of Hook + Line composed the score.
