Opening with the ritual hand washing that has come to be a familiar trope in corona-related content, this film takes a harrowing twist at the end.

Directed by Calum Macdiarmid, the film was produced by Great Guns who approached London agency MRM after seeing NO MORE’s powerful print work.

Glimpsed through a window, a man at a sink washes his hands, slowly the shot pulls in to show what seems to be the aftermath of a violent incident. The words, 'there's an epidemic you can't wash your hands of,' hit home with the horror of corona's secondary fatal impact – in the UK there have been twice as many domestic killings since lockdown, while calls to abuse helplines have risen by 120 per cent.

Created following social distancing protocol, it was speedily produced, being green lit on a Thursday, filmed on a Friday, and delivered to the client on Tuesday. It’s being broadcast on the NFL’s network in the US, as well as distributed through NO MORE and NFL social channels in the US and UK. Domestic violence is something you can't wash your hands of.
