Nico Poalillo documents Lowe's Marfa pop-up
Lowe’s staged a one-day Origin21 pop-up directly next door to the iconic Prada Marfa art installation.
Lowe’s launches their new first modern home décor exclusive line, Origin21, with a design moment to remember set in an unlikely corner of remote Texas desert, Marfa.
Lowe’s staged a one-day Origin21 pop-up directly next door to the iconic Prada Marfa art installation, with Los York's Nico Poalillo on hand to document the surreal scene with exclusive behind-the-scenes content.
Poalillo shot a 60s BTS film of the one-day-only interior design photo-op, while influential photographer Joe Green took photos of the installation itself. The desert was a blank canvas transformed into a work of installation art that inspired and surprised with its display of aesthetically stunning, approachably priced, modern home decor for the modern consumer.

The installation is part of a newly introduced umbrella campaign by Lowe’s called House of Style that will bring together home décor curations, product refreshes, and more, to unsuspecting consumers.
Nico Poalillo says, “You would never expect to find Lowe’s in the middle of Marfa, and that of course is the fun of the idea. I loved documenting this magical experience in one of the most inspiring and surreal settings in the US.”
