Director Nick Woytuk has signed with global creative studio, STADIUM.

Some say great athletes aren’t born, they’re made. And while his sporty body of work might suggest otherwise, Nick Woytuk wasn’t born an athlete. But he was born a maker. Raised by a sculptor, Nick started building, crafting and shaping visuals early on.

Two decades later after a childhood in Upstate New York and college in Vermont, Nick headed to where art, production, and granola sensibilities meet: Portland, Oregon.

In Portland, Nick’s visual aptitude first drew him into the world of graphic design before he realized some things were missing. Most notably, movement and people. Nick began to build a modest, human-driven and kinetic portfolio that eventually fueled his foray into the commercial world by way of Kamp Grizzly agency.

At Kamp, he grew deep roots in both post-production and directing and in the decade since, his agency sensibilities have allowed Nick to navigate the commercial world with perspective and ease.

Today, sports stories take Nick to prison yards, under the pacific and back in time. In return, Nick brings story to every project be it a sprawling feature doc or bite-size social feed asset. Nick believes that “operating in a reciprocal space between genres, techniques, and integrity are key when sculpting the legacy of an original story.”

Nick has returned to Upstate New York where the fresh air and sprawling acreage offers plenty of mental and physical space for dreaming up scripts and shot lists. As the sun rises on 2022, Nick Woytuk is tee-ing up for another year of chasing, surfacing, and sculpting the best stories in sport.
