Niall Trask joins Riff Raff's Nursery of Evil
Trask also directs new video for Fat White Family Bullet of Dignity.
Director Niall Trask has four O levels and has worked with bands such as Fat White Family and... Fat White Family. So Riff Raff signed him and made a video for Fat White Family.
Trask asked ChatGPT to come up with a biography that displayed his prowess as a filmmaker whilst making him seem approachable with a funny anecdote or two and here it is: He was happily running an illegal punting operation in Cambridge before the High Court intervened and forced him to become a filmmaker. He’s lived vicariously through bands for years making music videos and docs.
He’s seen pitches rejected by the likes of George Ezra, Lewis Capaldi and Clean Bandit and has made lots of videos he’s ashamed of, to pay rent. He also had a 2 year stint working in parliament after lying on a CV. He’s never won any awards or been able to afford entry to the UKMVA’s, a ticket or enough gak to handle industry chat without resentment.
Trask’s joined Riff Raff strictly to make commercials for only the following brands: Pedigree Chum, Cheesestrings, Daddies Ketchup and Huggies.
Trask adds “it’s about time someone like Riff Raff took an interest in me and reinforced my belief that I am better than everyone in the world. Kiss my ass and suck my d***, everyone”
Natalie Arnett Riff Raff EP says “Niall has been trying to get us to sign him for years, he eventually wore us down so here we are. Luckily for us he’s friends with bands we like so can get us guest list for gigs. The main things we look for in directors really. Oh and he has great ideas and is a very serious person.”
