Mustashrik Directs ‘Suspect My Tears’ Music Video For Elvis Costello

The captivating, noir inspired video was directed by acclaimed Partizan Animator Mustashrik, who has recently been featured in shots magazine, Art Review, D&AD and Bloomsberg news for his creative work, as well as creating branded work for clients such as Louis Vuitton, Chloe, NOS Energy, Girl Effect and visual performances for artist Ed Sheeran.

The video uses Mustashrik's signature hand drawn artwork to tell a classic noir-esqe tale of intrigue and romance set in a dark, dystopian world that perfectly echos the moody yet uplifting sentiment of the song. Creating the video in house at Partizan LA, Mustashrik put together a bespoke team of animation talent including visual effects tour de force Olivier Gondry, who took on the role of VFX Supervisor for the project.
