The Last Dinner Party takes a trip to Hollywood

The Last Dinner Party, composed of Abigail Morris, Georgia Davies, Lizzie Mayland, Emily Roberts and Aurora Nishevci have released their new music video for the track Knocking At The Sky directed by Sinclair at Pulse Films.

Serving as the final tale from their second studio album From The Pyre, the video transports viewers to a hyper-stylised Los Angeles backdrop where the glamour and false pretenses of Hollywood begin to unravel.

Set within a heightened, stylised version of Los Angeles, the film plays with the mythology of stardom, glamour and darkness of Hollywood. Blending classic noir, B-movie horror and psychedelic fantasy, Sinclair creates a world that feels both familiar and unsettling.

Unfolding like a kaleidoscopic home video, the film moves through a series of surreal, interconnected worlds, with each scene opening the door to something unexpected. Enhanced by the performances of the band and Sinclair’s distinctive visual language, reality and illusion blur until nothing is quite as it seems.
