Continuing their ethos of nurturing undiscovered talent, May hails from a freelance background. A university drop-out, whose instincts told her the best way to learn her craft was ‘on the job’, Miranda has forged a career from the ground up. “It’s been wild, and I ain’t stoppin’!” May reminisces.
Working most notably with brands such as Nike, Coca-Cola, H&M and Footlocker, as well as music artists like Pa Salieu, The Rolling Stones and Ellie Goulding, May's dark and colour-drenched aesthetic elevates the everyday into a striking visual language.
A filmmaker driven by voicing the untold stories of sub-cultures in global communities, May's passion for craft is evident in every detail. In her hands, each narrative becomes a voyage into uncharted creative territory, articulated through her instantly recognisable lens.
Upon signing, May says “Now I want to enter my era of making the seriously good shit. That’s why I’m excited to get busy with Kode because I think together, we can really do that.”
