London based MindsEye is delighted to welcome Java Jacobs to its directing roster.
Formed in Paris and shaped in New York, Jacob’s work melds an effortless French quirkiness with hardboiled New York wit.
Her characters burst with comedic honesty - but just when you think you’ve figured out where Jacob’s stories are taking you, she surprises you with something new. Raised on a strict diet of PSG and film, she’s most at home either on set or watching her team at the Parc Des Princes.
Jacob’s short film won the NYC Women in Film and Television Award as well as The New York National board of Review Award whilst her work for Canal+ won silver at the Promax Europe Awards.
