Have you ever fancied chowing down on a plastic bottle, or maybe your dog’s favourite toy? No? Then plant-based gum brand, Milliways, suggests you might want to reconsider your chewing gum of choice.
Created by Hatch London and directed by the brand’s long-time collaborator, Talya Galasko through Mercy TV, the absurd spot plays into the shock factor of people gnawing on single-use plastic items in public.
Galasko combines comedy, confusion and intrigue to highlight the fact that 85% of the UK population don’t know that conventional gum is made using plastic ingredients, before unveiling Milliways as the plant-based, plastic-free solution.
