On reflection, a “work holiday” party seems fairly oxymoronic.

Farewell, Work Holiday Parties captures in still life and horrible portraiture the ways in which corporate celebrations disappoint us and leaves a bad taste in our mouths. With details like the middle-aged amateur DJ, to the text-breakup, to the guy bare-assed on the copy machine, everyone can find something they’d rather not see ever again.

Away with all that! Alex Prager directs a spot that shines a horribly fluorescent light on all the things we hate about office holiday parties. Sure you get free booze, but the cost is sometimes much higher than the ten bucks you could have spent buying a six-pack of Miller Lite. Produced by Arts & Sciences and conceived by agency DDB Chicago, Farewell, Work Holiday Parties is a better sendoff than most of those soirees deserved.
