He should be irritating but the subject of this witty series of spots created by San Francisco agency, Erich & Kallman, and directed by Martin Granger through Moxie Pictures, becomes more adorbs the more you watch him.
He basically has a gleeful, over-excitable response to the fact that the brand’s name rhymes with the German pronunciation for ‘my key’, and proceeds to press upon us, repeatedly, the fact that he only trusts Meineke with his car and car key.
Over the course of five spots, he manages to educate viewers about the level and range of services the brand offers, while driving across the sea to America, having fun with a large horn and threatening to tickle a very large grumpy fella, Freidrich, voted three times Deutschland’s most disagreeable man.
