Award-winning director Martin Aamund has signed to Hobby Film for representation across the Nordics and Benelux.

Based in Copenhagen, Aamund’s style is the perfect fusion of beauty and naturalism with humour and oddity, resulting in memorable and unpredictable films. Over the years his films for brands like McDonald’s, Nokia, Budweiser, Johnny Walker and Peugeot have seen him win awards at Epica, Clio, Cannes Lions and New York Film festivals.

"To sign a director as talented as Martin is a dream come true for Hobby Film,” says Oskar Bård, owner and founder of Hobby Film. ”He is a killer visual storyteller at the top of the food chain. It’s also great to start working with yet another Danish director (Torben [Kjelstrup] being the other) and wonderful for Hobby Film Copenhagen to take a further step into the wonderland Danish market.”

Aamund joins Hobby Film close on the heels of French director Cloé Bailly and just over one year after the launch of Hobby Film Copenhagen. Since opening the doors Hobby has entered the Danish market with a string of films for Telmore, Somersby, Moove, Business Danmark, Telenor and Casumo to name a few.
