Leo Burnett London's first work for the brand since winning the account last spring, the campaign evolves the charity’s ‘Funny is Power’ platform. This celebrates the role of Comic Relief’s many supporters in the annual Red Nose Day drive to raise cash to combat poverty, violence and discrimination.

In a droll film titled You Have the Power to Change Lives, directed by Alicia MacDonald, through Missing Link, national treasure Joanna Lumley appears to Red Nose Day supporters in unexpected places and sets about serenading fundraisers by delivering her version of Lovin’ You by Minnie Riperton.

Be sure to catch her absolutely fabulous gurning when she goes for the song’s epic high note.

Famously boasting a five-octave vocal range, Minnie Riperton landed on the high note in the 1974 hit – it is G10, which is technically not a musical note but a frequency.
