Musical inspiration can come from a number of sources: a lover's rebuttal; birdsong; the clinking of Cognac glasses?!

In their latest campaign for Louis XIII Cognac, FF Los Angeles took the distinctive sound and gave it to Paris-based Israeli pianist Yaron Herman in order for him to compose One Note Prelude, a symphony comprised of a single tone.

Incorporating a string quartet (playing the same note, natch), the piece combines different octaves and contrasting rhythms to add texture, structure and harmony to the composition.
