Los York, the pioneering independent creative studio, has hired Nicole Taylor as Vice President of Business Development, a new position.

She reports directly to Los York founder and Director Seth Epstein. Previously, Taylor was Global Lead, Brand Partnerships for Uber Technologies at Snapchat, where she negotiated and managed the global joint business plan between Snap Inc and Uber.

Taylor joined Snapchat in 2016 as the company’s first account executive in San Francisco and became one of the tech giant’s top sales people under their brand partnerships practice. She brings to Los York a powerful resume in social media, client services and team leadership.

“Hiring Nicole represents the next step forward in the evolution of Los York’s creative services offering,” said Epstein. “She liaises with existing clients, managing those relationships while also reaching out to new clients and brands that are keen to work with a company that gets them closer to the creative process. Nicole is a sharp, savvy client-side talent who has earned her stripes in the trenches of the hyper-competitive tech sector. She knows big brands and what they need and want. She’s an indispensable asset to them and to Los York.”

“At Los York you’re surrounded by creativity, that’s what I loved about my career in tech,” said Taylor. “There were so many custom, innovative ways that we helped solve problems for brands and that’s exactly what I am doing here. There’s already an outstanding rapport between Los York and its clients and my task will be to strengthen those bonds as well as explore connections with future clients. In tech, I worked with large creative agencies with so many employees and layers that campaigns would often get delayed. Los York is a lean and efficient operation that creates time and cost benefits for clients without sacrificing top shelf creativity. That’s why I joined Los York, to work with a company that has an open mind, is creatively courageous, takes risks and partners closely with brands.”
