What would you do if you could predict the future? Take the brolly out even though the forecast says it's clear? Not tell your best mate how lame their ex was so soon after they broke up? Maybe don't eat the 3-day-old takeaway from the back of the fridge?!
In the case of the Loterías y Apuestas del estado [aka the Spanish Lottery]'s latest campaign, Fortune Tellers, the most important thing to know about the future is where to purchase your fateful ticket for the annual Christmas draw. To answer it, a host of 'genuine' fortune-tellers, tarotists and mentalists (including well-known Spanish astrologer Esperanza Gracia) give their predictions on where the perfect place to pick is. Unfortunately, the results don't exactly align...
Shot in a deliciously po-faced style by Augusto Giménez Zapiola through argentinacine and Pueblo Films, and with moments of genuine comedy coming through from the edit, we don't need to see the future to know that this will raise a smile from most of you.
