Thoughtfully directed by SMUGGLER’s Phillip Youmans, this intimate music video for American artist Lil Nas X's track World's Greatest unfolds as both a reflection on identity and a moving tribute to his late mother, Tameka Hill.
Youmans moves between past and present as Nas grapples with a challenging dance routine, evoking memories of his childhood and his mother's influence on his creative perspective from an early age.
Realised through gorgeous cinematography and emotionally charged performances, the promo is a nuanced and touching celebration of self-discovery, perseverance and the people who shape us.
