Lieven Van Baelen directs MOSA Ballet School launch film
CZAR Brussels director Lieven Van Baelen directs the launch film for MOSA Ballet School.
Director Lieven Van Baelen has directed a modern, organic and visually interesting new film for the new ballet school in Liège.
The school, which will have its first auditions from autumn 2021, has no difficulty turning heads. We follow dancers throughout different locations, captured with different visual styles, moving to the sound of The Four Seasons - Violin Concerto in G Minor. The usage of CCTV and infrared footage create a nice visual spin (pun intended) on the eye-catching elegance of the film. One of the locations includes the school itself, which is a former bank.
MOSA Ballet School aims to become one of the world’s best ballet schools. However, it takes more than ambition alone. This is why we use resources that match our objective: a demanding pedagogic framework, a truly professionalising programme, high-quality education run in parallel, but also an international vision, cutting-edge infrastructure, global and close support for every pupil.”-Mosa (website)
The marble walls, traditional ballet and modern visual style alongside the inspirational (and sometimes contrasting) words to describe MOSA, make for an alluring, fresh and unique looking film.
