L7nnon confronts the enemy within

Concepted by Africa Creative and co-directed by Thiago Eva and Kaique Alves through Sweet Filmes and KondZilla, this haunting film for L7nnon’s track Guerras Invisíveis (Invisible Wars) depicts a dystopian Rio destroyed by war.

The plot follows a young man forced into battle in a dehumanised world ruled by faceless dictators. A metaphorical portrait of a world in collapse, it engages with the themes of our times, while ultimately revealing the hero’s journey to be an inner struggle. A key voice in Brazil's hip-hop scene, L7nnon – real name Lennon Frassetti – is a Rio-born rapper and songwriter known for his introspective lyrics. 

The 18-minute extended promo is an immersive mix of live action and AI enhanced effects that features five songs from L7nnon’s catalogue — plus one world premiere  — transformed into a single cinematic experience. 

The songs were reimagined with new arrangements featuring a live orchestral music by Orquestra Novo Traço, under the musical direction of Rafaello Ramundo, and recorded live in collaboration with producer Papatinho.

The directors Kaique Alves and Thiago Eva commented: "Between explosions, gunfire and destruction, this film is not about war — it is about what happens inside us. The result is a visually grand but emotionally intimate work, one that reminds us that there are wars no one sees. And perhaps the hardest ones are the wars we fight within ourselves.”
