Kode announce the signing of director Scott Perry for representation.
Perry’s work is humanistic, rooted in documentary and shaped by fashion and music culture. He pairs documentary instinct with considered craft, bringing intimacy into elevated cinematic worlds.
The partnership launches with a new campaign for GetYourGuide, created in collaboration with Preacher. The four-part TV and social campaign has begun rolling out across the UK, Europe, and North America, marking the first of several global projects between Perry and Kode.
Perry began his career in the music world, directing short films, documentaries and editorial pieces centred on real people and unscripted moments. Working extensively with archival material, phone footage and mixed formats, he built a discipline around shaping uncontrolled material into cohesive, human narratives, a foundation that continues to inform his commercial work today.
He later served as Creative Director at The FADER, overseeing all editorial video output and leading a twelve-person team, while also directing brand partnerships through the company’s studio arm. During this time, he collaborated with artists including Burna Boy, Dua Lipa and Lil Nas X, balancing cultural credibility with brand ambition.
Perry’s commercial portfolio includes campaigns for global brands such as Diesel, The New York Times (including the award-winning Independent Journalism for an Independent Life series), Nike, Google, Amazon, Beats by Dre, ASICS, McDonald’s, and YouTube. Across categories, from lifestyle to sport to technology, his work remains grounded in character and tone, bringing lived detail into elevated brand worlds.
Alongside directing, Perry has led large-scale creative systems internationally. As showrunner and Creative Director on three seasons of Good Morning Vogue, he produced live Fashion Week programming across New York, London, Milan, and Paris, producing three episodes per week while coordinating international crews and maintaining a clear editorial voice across markets.
Perry commented “Because of our similar backgrounds, there was an immediate kinship with the Kode team from the moment I met them. I can’t wait to start this new chapter and help build on the incredible foundation they’ve created."
Jack Goodwin Executive Producer and Founder add “From the moment I met Scott there was an immediate sense that we were aligned, creatively and personally. That feeling only grew while working together on the recent GetYourGuide campaign, where his ability to bring humanity and detail into big cinematic worlds really stood out. Just as importantly, he’s a genuinely great person to work with, which is something we value hugely at Kode. We’re proud to be starting this journey together and excited about where we can take it next.”
With the launch of the GetYourGuide campaign now underway, Kode and Scott Perry begin their partnership with a shared focus on connecting the real world to ambitious brand storytelling.
