Kendrick Lamar serves up more beef
In a continuation (and potential victory lap) of the rapper's endless feud with Drake, the music video for Not Like Us takes some visual and verbal swipes that are OVO the top.

Despite it being called Not Like Us, it's fairly obvious that there's only one thing that fits the description of 'not like' in Kendrick Lamar's mind, and that's Drake...
With a beef that began in 2013, leading to years of subtle digs and competitive tension, the rappers' feud has culminated in 2024 with both artists releasing simultaneous diss tracks that attacked each other's personal lives and careers. Landing what many people consider to be the victory blow, Lamar's latest includes appearances by Steve Lacy, YG, Thundercat, Roddy Ricch, and NBA star DeMar DeRozan, and features numerous jibes towards his Canadian counterpart.
From hometown dances with a large and happy crew, to Lamar's own family giving it loads in the latter part of the promo, the film, co-directed by the artist with Dave Free through pgLang / project3, does not skimp on owl imagery as a direct nod to his rival's OVO label; with Lamar attacking a piñata with a disclaimer that “no OVHoes were harmed during the making of this video", and ending with a shot of an owl in a cage, symbolizing a jab at the brand.
