Grandma's are generally trustworthy, dependable sorts, but the devious dowager in this series of funny spots for game Merge Mansion is certainly hiding... something.

Starring iconic actress Kathy Bates as the enigmatic Grandma Ursula, the films see sneaky goings-on involving some delightful knitted decoys, an elaborate escape plan and more knives than you could rake up in an afternoon.

With a high-concept full of cheekiness from W+K Portland, and witty direction from O Positive's Jim Jenkins, aided wonderfully by an entertaining turn from Bates, this charming campaign does a great job to build intrigue for the gaming product it concerns.
