Jk, it’s just a book cover sleeve I made for the music video I directed for my song, I Hate Running.
I came up with the book addition the day before the shoot, and not having any Art Dept (I was the art dept, and any other job you can think of) I went to a FedEx and spent three hours getting the sizing and look right.
It ended up being a big part of the music video, so was well worth it.
Maybe I’ll actually write this book one day.

The Toy Urn
A fan sent me this after I released my short film, Are They Smiling.
It’s literally a tiny ceramic toy urn based on the urn I carried around in my film with my parent's ashes.
I was so shocked someone took the time to make this because the film meant so much to them.

The Clown Painting
One of the first things I bought for my house.
I love how sad he looks, despite being an old-fashioned clown.
For some reason, I can really relate to that.

The Chair(s)
I have two of these.
They’re in my office usually but pictured here on the hillside of my home where I go to think sometimes.
The bigger the chair, the bigger the ideas.
I found them at the Rosebowl Flea Market.
People kept stopping to take photos with it and then moving on, because to everyone the idea of actually purchasing them seemed ridiculous.
So, I bought them.
Barely fit in my car.

The Other Clown Painting
I got this at a flea market in Paris last year (sorry, just had to somehow work in I’ve been to Paris).
I guess I’m realising just now, as I do this interview, that I have a strange fascination with clowns.
Will mention it to my therapist next week.
