Who knew strimming could be sexy? Or mowing so à la mode – even pressure washing gets pimped up in this fun spot directed by Paul Ward through Stink.
Created by Berlin agency Antoni, the film Bring Back the Wow, is part of a multimedia campaign that responds to the insight that leisure behaviour is changing, and the power-tool wielding target groups are becoming younger and more active.
Thus this music video-style spot is packed with quick cuts, hard beats and a bunch of deeply sassy dudes brandishing tools, licking flowers and generally getting funky in the great outdoors with a bunch of serious looking appliances. For balance there’s an old dude happily hedge-trimming, too.
What would Alan Titchmarsh say?
