Agency 72andSunny has boosted its New York leadership team with the addition of multi-award-winning creative leader Juliana Cobb as Executive Creative Director, taking the reins and adding to the agency’s top team and creative firepower.

Cobb, who joins from an illustrious run as an ECD at Droga5 New York, will lead and set the vision for the creative department, while helping to grow 72andSunny’s New York office, both in terms of culture as well as roster of clients.

In an 8-year run at Droga5, Cobb led breakthrough work for major brands including Prudential, Blue Apron, Pinterest and Chase, and most recently the award-winning global Huggies campaign We Got You, Baby. “I’ve never been an ad guy, “ says Cobb, “I never got the formal ad school training a lot of people did, so my true north always has to be ‘is it the truth and does it feel special’. I’m drawn to work like that and the places that create it.”

Cobb will be working closely with newly appointed Head of Strategy Geoff McHenry, both joining the agency’s leadership bench at a time that, in the past year, has seen creative projects like redesigning Zoom’s brand identity, creating a retail pop-up for 1800 Tequila and launching Sleep Number’s new creative platform.
