Join in a chorus of kindness
I didn’t expect 2021 to start with Harry Styles and Phoebe Waller-Bridge two-stepping across a stage in matching Gucci jumpsuits, but here we are.

Teen heartthrob turned new-age glam-rock pop star Harry Styles has come in swinging, dancing, and even attempting the foxtrot in this new promo that is exactly the energy I want to bring into 2021.
Treat People with Kindness opens with bad bitch Phoebe Waller-Bridge talking shop in her nightclub and eventually heading downstairs to watch the entertainment; the always-bright-eyed Styles, as he does a song-and-dance number on a stage reminiscent of the 50s and 60s musical revues. The choreography is charming, the fit is right, the vibe is dripping, and it’s beautifully executed and tied up in a bow that offers up a nostalgic, uncomplicated, and thoroughly enjoyable show tune.
The film starts as a black-and-white piece and that’s how it ends. Co-Directors Gabe and Ben Turner have helped Styles master the simple, direct-to-camera narrative that makes him so engaging. Treat People with Kindness is their second collaboration, after the running-into-the-horizon Golden.
