In this exciting promo marking her solo debut, singer-songwriter Jade, already known for being one third of the X-Factor-born girl band Little Mix, makes a playful and compelling commentary on the darker side of being a rising artist.
Directed by Aube Perrie through Pulse Films, Angel of My Dreams sees gluttonous villain and manager ‘M’ abandoning a larger-than-life pop star Jade for a younger Jade, found busking on the streets of London, setting off a Stockholm-syndrome style relationship between a girl with big dreams and the music industry.
Perrie seamlessly weaves lighthearted elements with a dark narrative, leaning into a playful style of storytelling featuring sassy characters, creative costume design and splicing in archival footage of young Jade herself and her X-Factor auditions.
