Creative agency Iris and Igor Veselukha, co-founder of humanitarian charity Safe Passage 4 Ukraine, have collaborated to launch this stirring spot, directed by Jacob Proud, which aims to raise financial support for the country since a decline in media interest.
The film opens with a monochrome compilation of sobering footage depicting the destruction and turmoil of Russia’s scale invasion of Ukraine, paired with moving narratives from Ukrainians who share their heartbreaking personal accounts of the war.
The campaign specifically urges viewers to donate unused air miles and hotel points to help transport citizens to safe locations. Since its launch, the initiative has seen 15 million air miles and 2.4 million hotel points donated one year on from the full-scale Russian invasion.
