Inspiring inhalations

Written, directed and edited by Birth Production’s Valentin Guiod, the cinematic video is a poetic, strange and futuristic story about a group of a young people attempting to run towards a better future – a world where you can breathe underwater. 

Reminiscent of the height of the pandemic, when nations’ hospitals faced oxygen shortages, the film presents a nightmarish depiction of a planet where breathing might become an issue. 

The unsettling vision is however balanced by David Foulkes’ cinematography, which is simply... breathtaking.
