Industry veterans Phyllis Koenig and Steve Wi welcome a fresh future in 2016 with the launch of their Hollywood-based production company R A U C O U S Content.

With the opening of R A U C O U S, former Über Content Co-Founder / Executive Producer Phyllis Koenig and Über’s former Senior Executive Producer / Managing Director Steve Wi have set their sights on creating a fresh new brand.  Within this intimate and collaborative environment, their diverse roster of filmmakers are dedicated to producing high-end spots and longer-format films. The R A U C O U S roster of directors includes Ben Callner, Ryan Ebner, Keith Ehrlich, Adam Gunser, Chris Hooper, Paul Iannacchino, Rachel McDonald, Matt Shakman and Daniel Strange.

Koenig and Wi garnered enormous success with Über Content over the past ten years, including landing the company on Creativity’s list of Top Production Companies in 2015. The partners plan to build on this momentum by continuing to make a lot of noise in the industry, echoing the playful meaning behind the company name. With R A U C O U S, Koenig and Wi have set out to push the boundaries of creativity and technology into exciting new arenas.

“At R A U C O U S, we’re building a culture where our directors are encouraged to be collaborative with one another,” remarks Koenig.  “My focus is on the fusion of idea and execution in content, with the goal always of being more entertaining, more thoughtful and relevant, and ultimately more compassionate in our larger views.”

Koenig and Wi’s respected standing in the commercial industry has helped the pair launch R A U C O U S on the foundation of solid relationships with top agencies worldwide, including W+K, Deutsch, Droga5, The Martin Agency, BBDO, 72&Sunny, and Periera & O’Dell.

“Phyllis and I have been producing exceptional work and providing our clients with a premium experience throughout our careers,” comments Wi.  “R A U C O U S will continue to work with the best of the best in the industry, making sure our directors and clients always feel that they’re part of a shared process.”
