As the only global competition recognising and celebrating the indispensable role and outstanding contribution that both music and sound design play in the media, The International Music+Sound Awards are back for 2016 and calling for worldwide advertising, film and TV entries, broadcast or released over the last year.

With 28 categories arranged into five groups, Best Original Composition, Best Sound Design, Best Sync, Best Re-Records + Adaptations and Best Use of Production Music, the competition spans the complete breadth of disciplines involved in music and sound in the media.

The Awards provide a global platform, showcasing and giving accolade to the extraordinary talent in these areas.  They also highlight how intrinsically vital music and sound are to productions and how they’re often the elements that form the deepest connection with the audience.

Co-founder, Dan Neale, says, 

“We’re delighted to announce the 4th annual International Music+Sound Awards are open for entries. The competition was created in the mould of our UK Awards to shine a light on the incredible talent that provides music and sound design to the media industries, and to celebrate that on a global scale. 

He goes on to say,

“It is only made possible by the amazing jury that give their time and consideration to the entered work, and their collective contribution has helped set the International gold standard within the industries we represent. We look forward to having another year of high calibre work for them to assess, and to rewarding the unsung talents who create music and sound. We wish everyone who enters the very best of luck.”

With industry leaders such as Jon Williams, CCO at Grey, London, Eric David Johnson, Music Supervisor at McCann, New York and Rani Vaz, SVP / Director of Music at BBDO, New York on the advertising judging panel, the awards are now firmly established as an important competition in the international calendar.
