Iggy pops up On the Beach

2020; It's been a year like no other, and one which we'll all want to forget.

And, in this new spot from Uncommon London, the 'godfather of punk', Iggy Pop, gives us hope that we can someday put it out of our minds and move onto better - and more relaxing - things, like a dream holiday.

The two-minute spot, called Someday, features a collection of joyous holidaymakers running in slow-motion along a golden, sandy beach, overlaid with the distinctive gravely tones of the former Stooges frontman. He tells us that, though the year's been less than stellar, with people going "lockdown loco", and when "shacking hands became odd", we still "picked ourselves up and we started again" and that "at some point, someday, you'll be on your dream holiday". 

The film was shot through Pulse Films by Sam Walker, who is also the ECD at Uncommon, with the uplifting, dreamlike music which accompanies the film created by Wave Studios.
