House Post launches
House Post is a new creative post-production studio, offering services across edit, colour and sound design.
House Post, a new creative post-production studio, offering services across edit, colour and sound design, launched January 1, 2024.
The company is being led by Managing Director and Executive Producer Kevin Clark, with Co-Founder and Colourist Connor Bailey, with support from post producers Christo Arsenio and Gina Martin.
At the core of House Post lies a new way of working. Clark notes, “We saw so many production companies and agencies continuously running into a kind of friction, jumping across each part of post-production. We’ve built something efficient and really different, that bridges these mediums of edit, color and sound. All of a sudden it feels like working on an idea again, in real time. This system has been carefully designed by our team for two years, throwing out inefficient models of how things have been done and allowing our clients to enter a flow state. We’re calling it modular working.”
Modular meaning they can mix and match services, edit, sound, colour, music or any combination, while offering a full suite of post capabilities. House Post has built a foundation for seamless collaboration across their roster of artists, as well as with outside partners.
Their multifaceted roster includes colourist and co-founder Connor Bailey, colourists Dylan Hageman and Brennan Barsell, editors Andrew Litten, Blaize Fobbe, and Grace McIntee, and sound designers/composers Jake McMullen and Thom Pringle.
Since their launch, House has implemented this approach amidst an impressive roster of clients, including Sprite, Miu Miu, Farfetch, A24, Google, Porsche, Amazon, Timberland, MLB, Arcteryx, Walmart, Motorola, Nissan, GQ, Dell, FIGS, Sephora, Nike, Chipotle, Samsung, Jordan and Adidas, as well as musical artists like SZA, Jungkook, Jack Harlow, Quavo, Lil Nas X, Rich Brian, Kali Uchis, PartyNextDoor, J Balvin and Machine Gun Kelly.
In addition, House also works closely with production companies such as ArtClass, Prettybird, Somesuch, Stadium, Stink, Los York, Psycho Films, Slmbr Prty, EvenOdd, HPLA, FieldUnit, FNJ Studios, Happy Place, SoftSpot, DoBeDo and Ways & Means.
“These collaborations reflect the exceptional talent on our roster and the excitement we’ve felt this year from others who have begun working with us already,” says Clark. “It's such a lovely team and it gives me energy to keep championing for this incredible group.”
Only a year in, House Post has already made waves–with two AICP nominations (Dylan Hageman for Zara Home; Connor Bailey for Jack Daniels), and two film festival placements (Connor Bailey for Tribeca Film Festival and SXSW).
Looking ahead, House Post plans to engage with the community on a local and industry level through workshops, panel discussions, screenings and mentorship programs. “We believe in giving back to the community that has supported us. Our goal is to inspire and cultivate the next generation of post-production talent,” says Bailey.
