Wearclue, an app to collate inspirations for your next fashion staple, has launched with a spot that plays with the realities of hunting down the next piece to reignite your wardrobe.
Produced by Great Guns and directed by Calum Macdiarmid, it opens as many fashion films do, showcasing well-dressed models on the streets of London, before taking a comedic turn as it zooms in on a serial fashion hunter lurking in the corner.
As she pursues her prey down dark alleys, the protagonist explains that she desires not only to find fashion inspiration, but also to document it for future reference, and to do so she has no choice but to kidnap her unsuspecting muses.
Toying with the formulas of fashion films, the spot is a refreshing glimpse into the realities of trying to find your next muse, and not wanting to let them go.
