Henry signs director Leo Bigiaoui
The director previously won the Nikon Film Festival's Grand Prix du Jury for his short La Blessure.
Notable for winning last year’s Grand Prix du Jury at the Nikon Film Festival for his short La Blessure (The Injury), 27-year-old director Léo Bigiaoui is known for taking the road less travelled.
It was while studying at Sciences Po that he fell in love with the visual arts. Right from the start, he loved trying new things, experimenting and working in various styles.
In a three year period, he filmed a documentary in the Middle East, a manifesto in the form of a love letter to Paris that soon went viral, music videos for a range of groups, such as IBEYI and DAMSO, and started to direct adverts. Passionate about meeting people, he also created the podcast, CAMEFLEX, a collection of interviews and a portrait gallery of the jobs of the world of film.
For Hugo Diaz, Executive Producer at HENRY, "Léo’s arrival demonstrates our desire to develop directors and, above all, to help them move beyond work in advertising. We want to be able to be an intermediary for them on a range of subjects, whether that be advertising, fiction, music videos or documentary films. We are already working with Léo on an ambitious project with a leading agency, as well as on developing several promos. We are very happy to welcome Léo to the team at Henry."
Léo has already worked with leading brands, such as Le Bon Coin, McDonald’s and Go Sport. Having already tried various styles, he has settled on visual comedy as his preferred medium and has chosen Henry to represent him exclusively.
