Created for Tourism Ireland by Grey London, with a sweet hero film directed by Tom Speers, through Speers Film, the project set out to answer the question, 'what does the country offer that other destinations might not?'.
The agency undertook ethnographic research with everyone from tour operators, to Irish locals and industry experts, to gain a deeper understanding of what makes the emerald isle stand out.
It was revealed to be an inherent 'spirit of generosity' that resonates most with visitors. While most holidays leave them feeling like a tourist on the periphery, Ireland truly invites you in.
The insight led to this charming tale of a local who goes above and beyond to return a lost hat to a couple of holidaymakers, embarking on a road trip that takes in the country’s geographical and cultural delights along the way.
