The film whisks viewers into a whirlwind cinematic fantasy where the protagonist imagines himself striking oil in the 1920s, amassing a fortune and transforming into a sleazy millionaire tycoon, before his closest friends begin plotting his demise.
Shot over the course of a week in Cape Town, the story is realised through a witty script, period wardrobe and richly detailed set design that carries the narrative across several decades in just 45 seconds.
