Titled There Must Be Something Better Than This, this stark, paired back, monochrome film directed and produced by Stuart Langfield seeks to point a lens at the humans behind stats such as these.

In a world where compassion fatigue has set in, disturbing figures about the effects of the cost of living crisis are reported daily in the press but fail to have impact. 

This film is a poignant reminder of the emotional turmoil poverty is having on far too many of us.
