Harbor Picture Company announce that lead compositor Polly Gwinnett has joined the studio’s London advertising team, bringing with her a wealth of visual storytelling experience across high-end television, advertising, and music video.
Gwinnett began her career at The Flying Colour Company, where she honed her craft on longform projects. Consequently, she took the roles of Flame Artist then Senior Flame at The Mill, went on to develop her leadership skills at Daydreamer as Lead, before arriving at Harbor.
Her credits span some of the most acclaimed projects in recent years, including the multi-award-winning thriller Killing Eve, Steven Knight’s gangster epic Peaky Blinders, and The English for Prime Video. In advertising, Gwinnett has contributed to high-profile campaigns for brands such as M&S, O2, and Google.
Gwinnett has also collaborated with an impressive roster of creative talent, including director Dave Meyers on Little Simz’s Young and Renell Medrano on Lorde’s Hammer. Her commercial work includes projects with rubberband, Future Deluxe, and Amara Abbas on campaigns for Peloton, On Running, and Gucci.
A standout milestone in her career includes her work on O2, where she seamlessly navigated complex workflows spanning 2D, CG, compositing, and final delivery.
Creative Director Fergal Hendrick comments: “It’s great to have Polly join the team, having previously worked together at The Mill I know just how much experience, technical skill and creative talent she brings to the role. Just as importantly, she’s a fantastic person, approachable, thoughtful, and highly communicative. She builds strong relationships across teams and helps create a positive, supportive working environment, which elevates everyone around her. I know she'll be a brilliant addition to the team here at Harbor.”
